The Beginning

Kill the Car has been a premier event at O.F.A.S.T.S. since the beginning. Mike Friend, owner of Firing Line and a few other gun enthusiast, brought this event to life in 2002. We are the only event in the nation to showcase such an exhilarating chaos as Kill the Car.

How It Works

With every great event, comes a few kinks. Originally, they had designated snipers to shoot an explosive and release the car for the shooters, which continues today. Depending on how we set up "Kill The Car", we sometimes use Dykon Blasting Corp to remotely release the car. But what we found out was that these shooters were no Seal Team 6. Sometimes, it took multiple shots to even release the car and get the show started (Kill the Car, 2008).

The release of the first ever successful "Twin Kill the Cars in 2017" was on Saturday, June 24th. Check out the video!
